Dunno about you, but I'm deffinetely looking forward to some rockin' house releases - hopefully. Lomidhigh Lmtd is all about good, quality releases (maybe except the very first release) - let's hope this label stays on the same track. Personally I'm really not a big fan of this house trend that has been going on lately. Within the last year or so I've heart soooo much "summer house" with a bit to much conga, trumphet or juicy fruit drinks samples..bahhh! Okay, don't generalize, Peter! But don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of house, but once in a while I'm shocked by the stuff out there. I hope and believe LMH Organic finds a nice balance between pure minimal and beach party house. Nevertheless this is one of Seuil's best releases so far.
Go to their myspace and see for yourself! And btw, check out the nice artwork - reminds me of good ol' Perlon.

“Microbiotic”, the first release of Dutch producer and dj Angelo D’onorio on 90wattsrecords is an explosive one! This release consists of two tracks: “Microbiotic” and “Catch the break” Angelo, one of the Dutch top DJs in the nineties, shows his skills here as an excellent producer.

Angelo D’onorio started in the early nineties spinning funky techno-house. Only four months after starting his dj career at the world famous Amsterdam-based iT, everybody knew his name and skills. He was invited to rock the dance floors of all the famous clubs in town and worked as a resident for Mazzo, Paradiso and the legendary RoXY. Two years later his name was listed among the top dj’s of the nation, and he was playing all over the country including festivals like Lowlands, Pink Pop, Mysteryland, etc. Since that time, Angelo has been rewarded with three Best Dutch Dj awards, and has become one of the most popular DJ/ Producers in the country. After releasing his underground hit “To The Floor” (supported by people like Carl Cox) Angelo travelled around the world doing gigs in Brazil, Spain, Argentina, Chile, South Korea, China, USA, Bulgaria, Russia, Israel, Prague, Macedonia, France, England, Ireland, Scotland, South Africa, Croatia, Norway, Italy, Belgium and many more. Over the years, Angelo has played with many of the top names in the techno-house scene such as Derrick May, Kenny Larkin, Billy Nasty, Westbam, Mr. C., Laurent Garnier, Tom Middleton, Pepe Bradock Underworld, Ken Ishii, Slam dj’s, Funk d’void, Pure Science, System 7 , Prodigy (Pinkpop), Chemical Brothers, Underworld and Orbital (Lowlands). Angelo is recently a resident dj on sundays @ Club NL and releasing/ed music for 90wattsrecords, Kismet records, Serious Radio Recordings and 2DJs4Love.
90wattsrecords is a fresh new label with a tech-house and deep-house flavour, based in Amsterdam. Visit 90wattsrecords.com for more information.

First album from Chicago based Siteholder Records
Huge Hephner, co-owner of the 2-year-old Chicago label Siteholder Records, drops his full-lenght album "Nymphotech" August 15.
"I wanted to create a distinct style that combined the legendary sound of jackin' Chicago house with modern techno," explains Siteholder Records co-owner and world-renowned producer, Billy Dalessandro, when asked about his decision to create the Huge Hephner alias.
Huge Hephner, a name not easily forgotten, first gained notice in the electronic music world roughly a year ago, with "The Booty Drop" EP on Siteholder UnCut (Siteholder Records' digital sub-label). The release marked a clear departure from Dalessandro's traditional production style, implementing a distinguishable house vibe while still maintaining a forward-thinking techno feel.
Following the success of "The Booty Drop EP," Hephner took little time in preparing his first vinyl release for Siteholder, entitled the "Pimp Slappin'" EP. Building upon his prior success, the EP found its way into some of the world's top DJ's record bags. Up until this point, the individual behind the Hephner alias had remained a secret. However, following the critical acclaim of "Pimp Slappin'," it was only a matter of time until Hephner's true identity was revealed.
Merely one year later, Hephner ups the ante with the release of his debut album, entitled "Nymphotech." This full-length album marks the culmination of Hephner's young career with Siteholder Records - a label that techno legend Sven Vath claims is "putting Chicago back on the map."
Keeping today's volatile vinyl market in mind, Siteholder takes a unique release approach for their first full-length album. Instead of going the traditional double-pack route, "Nymphotech" will be released on vinyl via two separate three-track album samplers. The two remaining tracks will be available exclusively in digital format via Beatport. Those who purchase a digital copy of "Nymphotech" in its entirety will also get a free 30-minute live set by Hephner.
"After a successful digital EP and vinyl release, I really felt like it was time to put myself to the test by producing an entire album - the first I had ever done under an alias," Billy notes, "from the beginning I had always wanted to create a separate identity with an equally fruitful career to the one I've built under my given name... Huge Hephner has allowed me to do that and at a pace beyond anything I could have ever imagined!"
As Dalessandro prepares to hit the road in August for yet another European tour, Nymphotech is poised not only to ensure further recognition of the Huge Hephner name, but also push Siteholder Records into the few pockets of the planet it has yet to penetrate.
Release date: August 15.

Interview - Anders Ilar (Shitkatapult/Sweden)
“Beautiful atmospheres between deep techno and electronica-IDM, dreams and nightmares, ecology and technology“. It’s quite a good start to try to describe the sound of one of the most brilliant electronic music composer who comes out of the shadows for this interview on Boing Poum Tchak!. With Sworn and Melt, his two new albums released simultaneously, swedish artist Anders Ilar grows up once more in the deep hearts of electronic music lovers, and here, he helps us to find out some clues to elucidate his emotional but not always easy-to-access music.
Read the rest of the interview here.
A small tip, advice whatever: You should also do you and your mates a tiny favour and update yourself through Boing Poum Tchak. Yeah, quality site!

Free ketamine style minimal techno
Yo yo! Normally I don't do this: BUT a couple of days ago I got a request from a nice young fella from Slovenia - dj dalli. However, he's got a track which he pretty much would like me to make a post about. And to be honest - why the hell not! I appreciate the whole idea of giving away some of your stuff for free - in this case a track. I don't care if the purpose is promotion - free is free, and I like.
All right. Nuff said. Download link below:
Download the track here
Check it out:) I think my man from Slovenia would love some feedback - so fire away!
Y'll take care.

The Techno Adventure
This is an event I personally have been looking forward to for quite a while; Sunday Adventure Club in Berlin. When the nice weather starts to arrive, the great techno parties slowly move outside. Sunday Adventure Club is no exception. The whole bangin' blast takes place on June 15th and will be located at an open air spot with 3 scenes near Postbahnhof. The program goes like this: 10am to 10pm outdoors and from 6pm till last man standing indoors.
Check out this year’s insane line-up:
Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Matthew Dear's Band, Josh Wink, Zip, Magda, Marc Houle Live, Karotte, Tobi Neumann, Paco Osuna, Matt John, Troy Pierce, Guido Schneider, Cassy, Steve Bug, Heartthrob Live, Konrad Black and finally and Marco Carola and Loco Dice B2B.
Well, if you’re a sucker for the big guns in minimal techno, this is in my oponion an event you should consider before hitting Sόnar. Basically you’ll find yourself in one huge label night since a great amount of the Berlin techno labels are represented.
Hopefully I’ll be able to upload some sets and stuff from the event. We’ll see:-)
Make sure to buy yourself some tickets before it’s too late. Go to the official Sunday Adventure Club website and purchase some passes. Maybe I’ll see you there. Can’t wait!

The COMEBACK :-)
Hi, all minimal freaks:)
I have been traveling and have hooked up on quite a lot of stuff lately - this has been the reason why this blog has been completely dead since Novenber last year. I apologize. Well, it's about time to shake it up a bit and start posting some informative minimal techno stuff:)
My basic idea with this blog is pretty much to serve you, on a daily basis, some bangin' minimal dj- and live-sets. Wow, long sentence:)
Furthermore you might expect some interviews, stories, reviews and hopefully a lot more.
Finally I hope you will enjoy my blog. And if you have anything on your mind, feel free to comment on my posts or send me an e-mail if ya like: peter.james911@gmail.com.
Cheers:)
/Peter.
